OPEN ACCESS POLICY

The Tér–Gazdaság–Ember / Journal of Region, Economy and Society provides immediate open access to all published content. All articles are freely available without charge to users or their institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles for non-commercial purposes, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. Articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), provided that proper credit is given to the original author(s) and source.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content.

No embargo period applies.

The journal does not charge any submission fees or article processing charges (APCs).

For all articles published in Tér-Gazdaság-Ember / Journal of Region, Economy and Society (ISSN 3058-1079 (Online)), copyright is retained by the authors. Articles are published under an open-access Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license allows others to copy, distribute, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated. The purpose of this license is to support the broad dissemination of academic research while ensuring that authors receive appropriate credit.

The journal supports the widest possible dissemination and reuse of research within the limits of non-commercial use.

Reuse of Material from Other Publications

If authors wish to use any material (such as figures, tables, diagrams, photographs, etc.) for which they do not hold the copyright, written permission must be obtained from the copyright holder. It is the authors' responsibility to check the original source and identify the copyright owner. Permission is also required for reusing the authors' own previously published material if the copyright was not retained at the time of the earlier publication. 

Permission is not required for the reuse of tables, charts, diagrams, or other similar materials that the authors have previously published, as long as the original source is properly cited. The same applies to materials created by other authors, provided they are not directly copied but are appropriately recreated by the current authors.

Obtaining Permissions

As obtaining copyright permissions may require time, authors are advised to initiate requests as early as possible. Copyright holders may provide specific instructions on how to acknowledge the use of copyrighted materials. In the absence of such guidance, a general acknowledgment may be deemed acceptable.
